Chet Neufeld

Chet Neufeld is the Executive Director of the Native Plant Society of Saskatchewan and founder and current Chair of the Saskatchewan Invasive Species Council. He was born and raised in Swift Current and got his Bachelor of Science from the University of Lethbridge. He has worked for Agriculture Canada, Environment Canada, and has consulted with various agencies. His work has included projects dealing with climate change and native grasses, restoration of native prairie, rare plant surveys, seed bank studies, and invasive species management. He specializes in plant ecology and is also a Professional Agrologist with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.
